Diggers Magnificant Dozen
Our Saturday team scored an incredible 12 goals in their league match against Loughshinny in Albert College last weekend. Hat tricks from three different players; David, Philly and Eoin, 1 from Paul, Wayne and player manager Robbie also getting on the score sheet. It was hard to pick a man of the match but it has to be Philly who scored 3 and had 2 assists playing at left back. Well done to Robbie and the lads recording 3 wins during October.
Our Sunday team also recorded a third win in recent weeks beating Laytown 4-1 in Albert College. Paul Burke maintain his early season scoring form with an impressive hat trick. Andrew Nugent scored the other goal in a win which moves them in to third place in the league. Well done lads.
